Leo Bondarenko

In his role as Contract Administrator and Finance Manager, Leo oversees FPAN’s accounts payable department and day-to-day financial operations. He is responsible for assisting with payer contracting and the dissemination of critical contract information to FPAN members. In addition, he plays a key role in obtaining value-based reimbursements and managing the distribution of shared savings generated by the network’s implementation of Triple Aim— a framework for health system optimization identified by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

With more than a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Leo’s expertise lies in compliance reporting, process improvement, financial modeling, and data analytics. Prior to joining the FPAN team in March 2025, Leo served as the manager of the provider finance team at Medica, where he specialized in identifying opportunities for financial optimization and implementing processes to drive savings. Prior to that, Leo led the rollout of a compliance program for Optum. Leo holds a Bachelor of Science in business with a focus on marketing from Metropolitan State University.

Outside of work hours, Leo enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. He is actively involved in coaching youth sports, including baseball, basketball, and football, and loves fishing during his free time.
